Noa
Sagie was born and raised in Kfar Bialik, Israel. She graduated
from the "Reut" school of the arts and trained with the "Haia Tzur
School For Contemporary Dance". After completion of her studies
she was recruited to the Israeli Defense Force, where she proudly served
for over two years. At the age of 21, she moved to New York City
after being accepted to the Alvin Ailey Dance School where she finished
her studies with honors. While still in school, she received the
LCU Foundation scholarship for 2006/07. She currently resides in
New York, working with Jerboa Dance Company and take part in various
projects such as "Class of 73 bells" video clip and the Cool NY Dance
Festival. Noa has presented her own work at the Ailey Citigoup
Theater in 2006 and 2007 and the West Side Dance Project with
EyeBlink Productions in "Stripped boundaries" (2007), and "Rhythms"
(scheduled April 2008).
